BURGLARS struck at three homes in Castle Point over the weekend.
They smashed a kitchen door to get into a house in Thorney Bay Road, Canvey, and steal a haul of goods at Friday lunch-time.
They took clocks, watches, a Fuji digital camera, a black Jasper Conran bag, and a Toshiba flat screen television with DVD player.
They also took jewellery including a studded ruby ring and a snake horn Swarovski pendant and earrings, bracelets and rings.
A house in Dinant Avenue, Canvey, was also broken into and a Panasonic 46 ins plasma television, a Nintendo Wii games console, a calculator and an Acer laptop were stolen between 5pm on Friday and 9pm the following day.
Finally, a burgkar tried to break into a house in Hatley Gardens, Benfleet, at about 6.45pm on Friday but was disturbed.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious or who is offered these goods.
