Teenager charged with robbery after Basildon home raided

A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with a robbery in Basildon.
A 17-year-old from Eltham in South London has been charged with robbery in connection with an incident at a home in Devlins.
He is thought to be one of three intruders who forced their way into the home and threatened the owner, before making off with a small samurai sword and a laptop.
The incident happened on August 22, shortly before 6am.
The teenager has been charged with robbery and is in custody.
He is due to appear at Basildon magistrates court on Monday.
