Man left trapped after A127 crash

A MAN was left trapped in his car following a crash on the A127.
The incident involved just one vehicle and happened on the London-bound track of the carriageway at the junction of Childerdith Lane in West Horndon.
Fire crews from Grays, Brentwood and Orsett raced to the scene and had to cut the man free from the car.
The crash happened at 8.30am on Sunday and the man was freed by 9.15am.
The crash is one of several to keep emergency crews busy over the weekend as sub-zero temperatures continue to cause dangerous driving conditions.
