Coombes Farm housing plan rejected

Councillors have thrown out plans from a developer looking to build 251 homes on a green belt site.

Rochford District Council’s development committee unanimously voted against the proposal made by Cogent Land who want to construct the properties on Coombes Farm, just off Stambridge Road and Mill Lane, Rochford.

The committee refused the plans on the basis they feel it is an “inappropriate development for Green Belt land”.

In 2009, the developers first pitched the proposals for homes on the land under their previous guise of Colonnade with a plan for 326 properties.

Well done Rochford District Council, a council with the wellbeing of their own people at heart, we have to make a stand against uncontrolled population growth, there has to be a limit!

don't let this cowboy outfit anywhere near anything, they've sat on their hands for years regarding their 'proposed' redevelopment of Laindon's shopping precinct that as a result of their prevarication resembles parts of the east end after the Luftwaffe paid them a visit in the early nineteen forties. They are useless.

Just because the council have decided to turn down this particular application, does not mean that is done and dusted, congent have the right to appeal against the decision, and could take it to a judicial reveiw I understand that there is an opposition group "race" well done to them, for keeping up the fight .

Same old rhetoric and unsubstantiated allegations from our old friend Mincer. Mincer, what you suggest may be true but let's face it, you have not one shred of evidence.

@Phoenix22
I am a mason so perhaps you would like to tell me.
Btw, a mincer is a man who is extremely camp. Not necessarily gay, but definitely exhibiting tendencies towards the feminine. Primarily slang used in England.
That is according to The Urban Dictionary.
As I recall, there was someone on here a while ago who called himself mincer. He appears to be no longer active.

The urban dictionary is of course a Mocktionary!

I believe there was a poster called Minceir on here which would be pronounced 'Mink-Ure' but old bucket head doolally wouldn't get the niceties of that.

If you are a mason you can get the evidence yourself.

Midge Ure I could understand but why would anyone want to call themselves Mink-Ure ? Could have been an Ultravox fan who liked a play on words I suppose. What makes you think minceir would be pronounced 'mink-ure' anyway ? Sounds rather odd to me.

The user names on here are stories in themselves, or some of them at least.

Minceir is the name of a culture. Nothing odd about that really.

There are people on here calling themselves after seaside towns or even... Kings.

I replied to a direct question from another user so it must be clear, or would be to a person with even the intelligence level of a sea pebble, that im not talking to myself or indeed writing to myself which might be what you meant.. pebble. The fact you commented on the post would suggest you read it which further undermines your theory of "talking" to myself, you read it to reply to it.
