Updated: Man charged following theft of chemical drum

A MAN is due to appear in court following the theft of a drum of chemicals from a dry cleaners in Billericay.
The blue metal chemical drum, which contained Percoethylene, was stolen from outside a dry cleaners on Western Road on April 5.
Police officers located the drum in Laindon.
A 36-year-old man from Wickford has been charged with theft, using a motor vehicle without insurance and driving without the relevant licence.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on April 26 having been released on bail.
