Striking for one hour in the middle of the night. LOL! I bet they didn't even get out of bed. Selfish and lazy. Well done.
Let's just hope you don't ever need the help of selfish and lazy people risking their lives to save yours. They are only doing this to prevent cuts to the service that you may need some day.
'risking their lives?' they are very well paid for doing a job and are not being forced to do it - there are plenty of people who would be grateful to be on their sort of wages."

Firefighters strike for one hour on Saturday morning

Firefighters around Essex walked out for 60 minutes in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Between 4am and 5am, Fire Brigades' Union members formed picket lines outside their stations over a row about cuts to the service around the county.

A spokesperson for Essex County Fire and Rescue said no incidents happened during the hour, with officers returning to work once the clock hit 5am.

On June 28, firefighters walked out for 24 hours over the same issue.

Another day-long strike is planned on July 18.
