Burglars caught after chase in Basildon

Two suspected burglars were caught after alarms were raised by residents of a street in Basildon.
On Thursday evening, police were called after people living on Clay Hill Road saw the men, both aged 32 and from Basildon, in the area.
After officers arrived at the scene, they located the men who attempted to run off.
Police were able to chase the pair down though before arresting them.
