Well how was it stolen? Bolt croppers? If he left a £4G bike outside unlocked then he’s asking for it!

please furnish us with some details regarding this bike that's allegedly worth four grand.

Did the owner just prop it up against the wall while he 'was only in the shop for a few minutes' ? If so, I'm afraid he's only realy got himsef to blame for it getting half inched.

The first clear picture I've ever seen .... somebody must know this man ... but is any bicycle worth £4000? .... most cars aren't worth that! A few minutes is perfect for a thief to grab.

My sister in law bought a Panasonic Titanium Flat Road EB for her husband for Christmas 2011 and she had it shipped from the US. It cost her with airport import taxes $5,550. Why the hell she bought it is beyond me, probably run out of ideas. Anyway I dont talk to her since my husband died. Stuck up very rich ****, I never brag what Ive inherited but she likes to let people know. Halfords are good enough when buying for my grandchildren.

It's a lot better than their usual policy of issuing 8+ weeks after the crime.

What kind of turtle ? Did you know that in the US you cannot buy a turtle less than 5 inches long. This has been law for nearly 40 years. Now back to the story !

Why pick Leigh on sea ? People where I live are very much like that and £4,000 for a bike from one neighbour the next one would spend £5,000. Thats what they are like here ? If a man buys a new Porsche and man will buy a Ferrari for bragging rights until the next man buys a Bentley sports and so it continues.. Are they like that in Leigh ?

so, let's get this straight.... you don't " brag what you've inherited " yet you want to make all of the other readers of these comments fully aware that you had an inheritance ? Personally, if I was raised so badly, or too stupid to have most of the views you have, I'd prefer to keep it to myself ;)

You load your own gun with the ridiculous nature of your posts, but keep it up, it's entertaining , if nothing else.

There is a £250 reward.

Someone must know the thief. Is that a Rapha jacket he's wearing? If so someone in cycling must recognise him.

not sure about the jacket, but it's definitely a Chava baseball cap.
