Burglars strike in Benfleet

A HOUSE-HOLDER disturbed three burglars who broke into their Thundersley home.

The men had smashed the front door of a house in Kiln Road at about 1pm on Monday, July 9.

They were disturbed by the occupier and then fled the empty-handed.

The suspects were white. Two of them were wearing baseball caps, were 6ft tall, of medium build and aged in their 20s.

One of the men had a jacket with royal blue on the top and white on the bottom.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

If they are brought to trial they will be given community service. The police have house burglaries low on their list of crimes. Believe it or not, more money and policing is put into motoring offences from police budgets, because they get a massive return with their initial lay out. What are they going to get from catching a horrid shameful burglar ? No returns.

Scum no more and no less, whilst real men work these vermin suck our blood.

They would make great target practice.

*Sighs* just as I was expecting; the typical pea-brained right wingers response. What's more pitiful is that we live in such an unfair and inequal society that some people are driven to crime as a means of escaping poverty. As for the commentor who mentioned motoring offences. It's quite right that those who commit such offences get the book thrown at them, there are too many irresponsible people on the road endangering other peoples lives. If you speed, smoke, or make a phone call whilst driving then you deserve to be punished.
