Attack outside Southend nightspot

3:17pm Tuesday 10th July 2012 in Local News

A MAN was attacked outside a Southend nightspot where he was sat on the kerb waiting for a friend.

The victim was outside Churchills bar, in Tylers Avenue, when he was approached by a man and a woman who began shouting abuse at him.

The woman then punched him on the nose and the man punched him in the head.

It happened at about 3am on Saturday July 7.

The suspect couple are described as white, aged 18 to 25 and of a slim build.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Kevin Oxlade at Southend police station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I would imagine that the man hit the victim whilst he was reeling from the first onslaught. Just because someone fails to retaliate, it does not mean that they are a coward as you put it. Let's hope the victim recovers. It seems that there is a lot of "trouble" around this particular establishment.

If you are saying that in THIS situation he shouldn’t have hit her than that’s sickening! Fk that wtf! She attacked an innocent guy minding his own business knowing that she had her man to back her if this poor guy defended himself! She needed to be floored – in that situation she is not a woman/Lady whatever you want to call it. If a woman is seriously and savagely attacking you, you need to put her down! Can you please tell me why, if a woman savagely attacks you, you shouldn’t hit her back? WTF is should be no different to a man – she put herself in that situation and absolutely, completely, unequivocally, 110 percent needs to be floored! She deserves it too!

To sav25s last comment though – you’re bang on and that’s why the justice system is raping the Great out of Britain!
