Let's hope that all involved are ok. Having the road blocked for 30 minutes makes one think it was a pretty serious collision.

Hope both the cyclist & bus driver are ok.
No doubt lefty will blame the bus driver even if the cyclist was in the wrong.

Can't be - the article says "crash involving a bus and a cyclist left a road in Shoebury partially blocked", so depending on your humanity (I'm assuming the Echo has some) the consequence for those involved was less serious than a 30 minute partial road blockage. A grazed knee perhaps? Broken side mirror?

I hope I'm right. A 30 minute partial road blockage in Shoebury being the most reportable outcome must mean that nobody was badly hurt, mustn't it?

i hope the cyclist and everyone on the bus are ok, i personally blame people who parks their cars on the side on the road. no doubt this accident was caused because there wasn't enough road space for the cyclist and bus due to selfish morons parking their cars at the side of he road.

Interesting assumption this. There is no reason for anyone to park on North Shoebury Road as there are no properties directly on the road. I travel there frequently and the only stationery vehicles are buses at stops and the occasional breakdown.
Perhaps those who make these assumptions every time there is an incident should check facts before commenting.
Hope all involved in the incident are OK.

hoblythick lane near the hospital is full of selfish idiots to park on both sides of the road so buses can't get past..i think people who block the road like that should be heavily fined. if you haven't got a drive to park your car in then you shouldn't have one, why should people who use public transport be forced to sit in traffic for ages because selfish idiots decide to block the road with their cars!

joeski97: This incident took place in North Shoebury Road, nowhere near Hobleythick Lane. The comment you made is not relevant to this story. Perhaps if you have a problem with any other places or with the way drivers park you should take that up as a different issue.
