Blues late accounts soon to be filed
2:48pm Thursday 12th July 2012 in Local News
SOUTHEND United has promised its annual accounts, which are now more than two months late, will soon be filed.
All registered companies legally have to file accounts with Companies House each year so shareholders, customers and other interested people can do checks on their finances.
A club spokesman said: “The audit of the accounts will shortly be completed and the accounts will then be filed.”
The Blues, dogged by problems with late payments to the taxman in recent years, has a history of filing its accounts late.
Last year’s were two months late and showed losses of £1.14million and debts of £8.9million.

Here we go again. Better sign a goalkeeper and striker (Freddy?) before the transfer ban gets imposed. Incidentally, how is Fossetts Farm getting on. Work was to start in the summer, but which year?

Been there, seen it all before, got the T-Shirt wait for next headline regarding Inland Revenue, possible administation, players not paid, point deduction and so forth.

start them off at minus twenty points at the start of the season if they don't send in their accounts on time
