Burglars strike in Leigh

BURGLARS broke into a Leigh home while the owners were asleep in the early hours of this morning.

They forced the front door of the house in  Harley Street and stole a large-screen television and other electrical items.

Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Southend police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

There's a lot of burglars striking recently - I didn't even know they had a union...

Come on Echo, you've been making this mistake for months. House burgled in Leigh would be better...
