A KITESURFER suffered serious injuries after a gust of wind threw him against a seawall on Chalkwell Beach.
The air ambulance and paramedics rushed to the scene just after 2.10 this afternoon (Wednesday) after reports a gust of wind caught his kite.
He was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with traumatic injuries including a broken rib and leg as well as internal bleeding.
