High professional criminals who I have some respect for. Much better then scumbags that rob old ladies, 12 year old kids, and usually only for a few quid. Hope the robbers dont get caught.

From what I've heard these weren't exactly pros......

Their getaway route was down an alley behind the shops where they could have easily be cut off from their getaway vehicle which was parked near a fairly busy junction near a school and local shops where there would have been lots of people around.

That vehicle was abandoned near the Yacht club where again, lots of people would have been around.

And let's face it, when you're in Shoebury, there's only a few roads in/out of the area so the chances of being tracked by CCTV/ANPR cameras is pretty high.

Also, within an hour of the incident taking place, the police already had the name of their chief suspect.

From his comments he obviously has a sad life, claiming benefits to spend on his drugs, aspiring to become like the thieving scum in this story.... Unbeleivable!

Carrying a crow bar constitutes an 'armed' robbery? What would it be if they'd had a firearm, a super-mega-armed-rob
