HGV diversion through Billericay and Wickford during A12 closure
Lorries will be diverted through Billericay and Wickford during five nights of roadworks on the A12 starting this week.
Resurfacing work will take place between junctions 13 and 14, at Ingatestone, from 9.30pm to 5am, from Thursday.
Cars will be diverted through Ingatestone village, but HGVs must take a longer route due to weight restrictions.
Eastbound lorries will leave the A12 at Mountessing, travel through Billericay and Wickford, join the northbound A130 at Runwell, before rejoining the A12 at Howe Green.
