TEN dancers from Corringham will perform with celebrities in the Let’s Dance for Sport Relief grand final on Saturday.
Students from Performers Agency, aged in their late teens to early twenties, have already appeared in shows supporting various celebrities in their bid to make the final, which will raise cash for Sport Relief.
Mandy Oliver, joint manager of Corringham’s Performers Agency, said: “It’s quite an honour to be selected for the show. Everybody is really proud of the dancers.
“The students in the third year are approaching graduation, so this could really help them get a job.”
Comedian Rhys Thomas, 30, from Wickford, and his heavily pregnant wife Lucy Montgomery, 35, were knocked out of last Saturday’s heat and didn’t make the final.
Comedians Rufus Hound and Jenny Eclair, and EastEnders actress Cheryl Ferguson, are among the celebrities in Saturday’s live final at 7pm on BBC1.
