FIREFIGHTERS tackled a kitchen fire in Purfleet.
Two crews from Grays were called at 11.50am on Saturday (March 13) and spent 20 minutes putting out a small blaze in a second-floor flat in Centurion Way.
A woman, thought to be in her 30s, was treated for smoke inhalation.
