A CARAVAN has been gutted in a suspicious fire.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in a carpark off Somercotes, in Basildon, at about 3am.
They spent 40 minutes dousing the flames.
Police are now trying to trace the owner to ascertain whether the fire was started deliberately.
