  • "This is how it went down Ed. Some idiot with no talent drove it in a profoundly stupid way and impacted some of the local topography. Probably while sozzled.
Whilst we all suspect that it was it's legitimate owner, have no doubt that if Mr Plod could actually be bothered and applied forensic anlysis he would be able to determine the 'driver' in about fifteen minutes flat. Since in an accident the driver will have impacted the dash or screen and left DNA and or fingerprints. DNA elimination is therefore simple.
However it's easier to simply nick a few people doing 31mph in a 30 zone instead. More profitable too. Take a huge guess which one lazy Mr Plod will do."

Mystery how top motor crashed

Expensive wreck – the £57,000 BMW convertible Expensive wreck – the £57,000 BMW convertible

MYSTERY surrounds how a top-of-the-range sports car ended up in pieces at the side of the road.

Motorists on their way to work yesterday were shocked to see the £57,000 black BMW M3 convertible in a tangled wreck.

The luxury car had clearly hit the wall at the top of Chester Hall Lane, near to its junction with Cranes Farm Road.

Chris Lane, spokesman for Essex Police, said officers couldn’t say when the car was crashed as it was just found abandoned. He said: “We are continuing to try to trace the registered owner.”

It is thought the crash happened some time between 7pm on Friday and 8am on Monday.
