Ninth man charged in cannabis factory death probe

A NINTH man has appeared in court in connection with the death of a man at a huge cannabis factory.

Terry Gould, 30, now called Terry Sherman, of no fixed address, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday charged with conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to supply cannabis.

The charges are in connection with the death of Vietnamese illegal immigrant Tran Duy Hai, 38, whose body was found on the floor of converted industrial units in Redhills Road, South Woodham, in December 2010, where police also discovered a major cannabis factory.

Gould was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, April 30.

Police are still trying to trace Stephen Morrisson, 22, in connection with the case.

Anyone who is aware of Stephen Morrison’s whereabouts is urged to contact Essex Police on 999 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

These are the sort of shady goings-on that happen all too often within the uncontrolled Cannabis industry. we need to take back the trade from the gangsters to whom it was given by the act of prohibition. Once the industry is legal once again these type of people will be weeded out once and for all.

The support for prohibition is now at an all-time low and reducing daily. I fully expect that within a year we will see the first case of Jury Nullification in a case of small scale growing for personal consumption. Find out more about Jury Nullification here.......

This is, of course, an indoor allotment. It is no more a "factory" that a yard full of tomato plants is a "Tomato Factory".
Cannabis is a plant which has been on this earth for eons, it is only in the last 100 years that we have had any trouble with it at all, and those troubles are caused by prohibition. End prohibition now, it's the only way we can proceed to a civilised future.
