Updated: Christopher Line executed two Southend men

A “CALLOUS killer” who executed two men with a shotgun after they set fire to a caravan at his home has been caged for at least 35 years.
Christopher Line, 29, who grew up in Basildon, lay in wait for Shane Hill, 20, and David Castell, 29, both from Southend, at Willow Park traveller site, in Beck Row, Mildenhall, Suffolk, on March 15 last year, before shooting both dead and setting Mr Castell on fire.
A jury unanimously found him guilty today at Ipswich Crown Court.
These were brutal and merciless killings and demonstrate that the defendant has little regard for the lives of others."
