Man due to appear in court charged with rape

A MAN was due to appear in court after being charged with raping a woman at Basildon.
Curtis Pizzey, 23, of Barnard Close, Basildon, who was arrested on Friday morning, is charged with the rape of an 18-year-old woman in Cranes Farm Road on May 14.
He was detained in custody to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning.
