AN MP swapped politics for business when he took up a role as a dragon in a mock up of the BBC’s Dragons Den.

Billericay MP John Baron was one of the dragons facing ten teams who were tasked with coming up with a business idea under the theme 2012 and beyond.

The event, involving students from schools across the town, was held at Mayflower High School in Stock Road.

Mr Baron said: “All ten presentations were very good with the children having worked hard on putting a business plan together and then presenting it well.

“We have some budding entrepreneurs.”
