l SHOPPERS in Billericay can find out how not to become a victim of wallet or purse theft, during a police awareness day on Thursday.
Police will be holding the event at Waitrose supermarket, in Billericay High Street, from 10am to noon.
Officers will be handing out anti-theft purse bells to residents and shoppers and giving crime prevention advice.
