£800 boost for Stock horse sanctuary

SPLASHTASTIC! A charity wet and wild event raised £800 for the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary.

The event was held at the home of Ramsden Bellhouse resident Valerie Carnaby, who opens up her home in Ramsden Park Road every year to host an fundraising day for different charities, said: “As well the fun in the pool we also had stalls, entertainment and plenty going on in the garden.

“Despite the rain it was a lovely day.”

The horse sanctuary, which cares for abandoned or unwanted horses, is based in Stock.
