CASTLE Point MP Bob Spink has repaid more than £2,000 following a review of his expense claims.
The Independent MP was asked to repay £2401.38 after the review chaired by civil servant Sir Thomas Legg found Dr Spink had been paid twice for some of his expenses.
However, the Castle Point MP said the findings are incorrect and he intends to challenge them.
Dr Spink has also been asked to supply additional details of his mortgage arrangements, which the review intends to investigate further.
