Car crashes into Canvey amusement park
2:48pm Thursday 28th January 2010
POLICE, fire and ambulance crews rushed to Canvey after a car crashed into the front of an amusement park.
The green Freelander veered off the road and ploughed into the front of the Fantasy Island amusement park and arcade, shortly before 1pm.
Police are investigating the incident, which saw Eastern Esplanade closed while a clean up operation took place.
The female driver of the vehicle was treated for shock.
