MOTORISTS faced delays after a two-car accident on the A13 in Benfleet.
The accident happened at around 6.10pm tonight, Tuesday, March 16, at the bottom of Bread and Cheese Hill.
Although fire crews were called to the scene to remove a roof from a car, paramedics managed to free the casualty before they arrived.
The injured person was left in the care of the ambulance service and the incident was dealt with by 6.50pm.
