Biker's gear stolen in burglary

A BIKER had his gear stolen during a house burglary.

Crooks broke into a house in Badgers Way, Benfleet,between 12.30am and 5am on May 2.

They got into a garage through an open window and then gained entry to the house by forcing open a secure door.

They took a AGV XR2 blue and black crash helmet, and AIROH black motocross helmet, a Gortex Star jacket with blue stripes, black and red biker boots and black and blue racing gloves.

Also taken was a 17 inch Samsung television, a Sony Viao laptop computer, and two mobile phones.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at the Southend Target Offender Team on 101.
