The delay is no surprise really, there is so much work to still be completed. I think they should have done a flyover to and from the A130 to the A13 and to and from Canvey island to the A13, leaving the rest of the roundabout as it was, this would have taken less time, less money, and less disruption.
Thats a far too sensible outlook that the planners obviously couldn't fathom out for themselves. Mind you, when you go for the obvious you then can't spend loads of other peoples money on consultants etc. As someone has already stated, how many months will it be before the roadworks are back to make this shambles work?"

'Sadlers Farm will not finish on time' council admits

THE roadworks at Sadlers Farm will definitely not finish on time a leading councillor has admitted.

The works, which have already overrun, were due to finish on Wednesday.

But Derrick Louis, Essex County Council's cabinet member for highways and transportation, has admitted there is no way the works will be completed.

He said he is now in talks with Olympic officials about the impact of the delays.
