Woman cut out of car after crash in Hadleigh

A WOMAN was cut out of her car after a crash in Hadleigh on Saturday.

The 24-year-old was driving a red Hyundai which hit a van which was parked in Falbro Crescent just before 10am.

The car ended up on its roof and two fire crews from Rayleigh Weir were called to the scene.

Sub officer Dan Vickress said the crews worked quickly to cut the woman out the car and they also gave her first aid.

He said: "The crews took about 40 minutes to secure the woman and get her out of the car.

"We had to be very careful because she had been suspended because the car was on its roof. She suffered neck and back injuries.

"We gave her first aid, carefully put her onto a spinal board and she was taken to hospital."

Police closed the road while the firefighters worked to release her.

Sorry BUT that road is a residential road on a bend, having lived in that area for many years without doubt the maximum safe and sensible speed for a car in that road where cars park either side and during tne week dozens if not hundreds of school children use that road to Westwood School.

How can you turn a car over unless you are driving like a lunatic OR not driving with due care and attention.

TOUGH LEARN TO DRIVE PROPERLY THEN YOU WILL NOT KILL YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE,
