Fungi expert leads walk in the woods

LOVERS of the great outdoors can join fungi expert David Winnard on a guided walk around Chesham Woods Local Nature Reserve on Sunday.

The walk starts at 1.30pm and will last up to two hours.

Boots or wellies are essential and the walk will end at the ranger base for a cup of tea and biscuits.

The event has been organised by the Bury Accessible Natural Greenspace project funded by Natural England’s Access to Nature Programme.Walkers should meet at the Clarence Park Lido car park, off Milner Avenue, Bury.
