A CHILD had to be freed from a climbing frame by firefighters after getting his leg stuck.
The crew from Leigh Fire Station was called to Blenheim Park at about 7.30pm to find the 12-year-old with his leg stuck between two of the bars.
They used cutting equipment normally used for car accidents to widen the gap between the bars to release his leg before closing the gap again.
