FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire earlier this evening.
Crews from Leigh fire station were called at 7.20pm to Lansdowne Avenue, Leigh, after debris in the chimney had caught alight.
No damage was caused to the property and the fire was out within 40 minutes.
