Burglars strike in Leigh

BURGLARS broke into a Leigh home while the owners were asleep in the early hours of this morning.

They forced the front door of the house in  Harley Street and stole a large-screen television and other electrical items.

Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Southend police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
