CAMPAIGNERS plan to picket Bobby Robert's Super Circus because of its use of animals.
Southend Animal Aid will hold a daily protest outside the circus, held opposite the Anne Boleyn pub in Southend Road, Rochford.
The circus is visiting the town from Wednesday April 23 until Sunday April 27.
Campaigners particularly object to its use of Anne the elephant, who no longer performs but has been with the company for more than 50 years.
They also have a circus zoo and stables.
