Firefighters help residents after Rayleigh house floods

FIREFIGHTERS pumped water out of a house after it flooded on New Year's Day.
Crews from Rayleigh Weir and Southend were called to Weir Gardens in Rayleigh just after 5pm after a brook at the back of the property overflowed.
The crews unblocked the drain and then used specialist equipment to suck up all the water.
