EARLY morning commuters were delayed after two vehicles crashed at a busy junction.
The car and the van collided in Downhall Road at the junction with London Road at 7.30am this morning (11).
By the time the police got to the scene, the two drivers had exchanged details. No one was injured.
Drivers in the area said there were queues while the incident was dealt with.
Grant Dawson said he was driving through the area at the time and got caught in the traffic.
He said: “It caused a lot of tailbacks. The junction is a death trap. Soon there will be a major collision.”
