Firefighters tackle bedroom blaze in Rayleigh

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Rayleigh after a small blaze broke out in a bedroom.
The incident happened at 4.30pm yesterday.
Two crew from Rayleigh Weir attended the property in Down Hall Chase, wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel to extinguish the flames.
The fire was successfully put out by 4.55pm, and the house was then ventilated to clear the smoke.
