What an asset to our country !!

Call me racist mincemeat or whatever you want the fact is all I ever see and hear is the term Eastern European.

And like many from the commonwealth that have settled here and have greatly contributed they are also fed up with this endless stream of criminality, and being accused of racism if we DARE mention the two words.

Most people under 30 years old do, maybe you should move with the times, after all the meter has been with us since 1974.
.
Kids can tell you how long a meter is but not how long 3foot 3 inches is.

I don't understand why the Imperial measure could not have been put in parenthesis beside the metric.

My friend Mincer tells me that he often beats his meter (sic) but that doing so makes no difference.

4 inches remains 4 inches. I have advised him that it would be best to stick to the Imperial measurement as if converted it would sound smaller.

So- how tall were these villains?

They did a survey about 5 years ago, asking university graduates their weight and height.
Out of 200 students questioned, 199 gave their answers in imperial measurements.

Regarding phone thefts, it's happening everywhere. Our Nephew was attacked in Liverpool, when someone tried to grab his phone.

I would like to have their heights in imperial. Also from what I have observed most people with expensive phones have them glued to their ears, working or just walking about.

1.55m means absolutely nothing to me and I was brought up in the 70s so should know metric measurements.

I have employed young people for site work and they dont understand either , reading and writing is also beyond them , so your age is not relevant just depends how thick you are , the easy rule is dont try to convert learn both I work in metric and imperial its not hard
