Rochford District Council releases a list of activities for children this summer
11:15am Friday 20th July 2012 in News By Emma Thomas
YOUNGSTERS should have no excuse for boredom this summer as a council has organised a host of sports and arts activities.
Rochford District Council, in partnership with Rochford Extended Services and Virgin Active, is giving children the chance to take part in workshops including scuba diving, fencing, cricket and
sewing over the summer break.
Some activities are free and many cost under £5 meaning families on a tight budget can still join in and try something new.
A full brochure listing all the activities is available on the council’s website www.rochford.gov.uk/holidayactivities or by calling the
customer services team on 01702 318191.
