Rochford District Council praised by residents

Rochford District Council has been praised by residents.

The authority received 180 compliments in the last 12 months about the way it provides services for its residents.

The customer satisfaction statistics also show that the council received 86 complaints in the same period - 74 were responded to within 10 days.

Councillor Jill Lucas-Gill said: “For whatever reason or subject you contact the Council, you expect your query to be dealt with professionally, courteously and quickly. Fulfilling this expectation is very important to us and we hope that these latest customer satisfaction statistics show that, on the whole, we achieve this.

"We also understand that it is equally important to respond as quickly to a complaint as we do a query.

"We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to contact us about the services we provide and hope they feel they received a prompt response that answered their questions.”
