DETECTIVES have issued an e-fit of a man who forced his way into a house in hullbridge and made a woman hand over at least £10,000 cash.

He was one of three men that broke into the house in Lower Road between midday and 2pm on Wednesday, August 8 .

Two of the attackers are described as white, with aged in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately six foot tall, of skinny build, has short brown hair and spoke with a local accent.

The other white man has curly brown hair and is of stocky build.

The man pictured in the efit is Asian, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, aged in his late 20s to late 30s, of average build, has dark curly hair which is longer on top and shaved on the sides, has a distinctive mark on the left-hand side of his face.

The 53-year-old homeowner was uninjured but was threated with viooemce. Police enquiries are focusing on the high probability that this was a targeted attack whereby the assailants singled out the victim.
