Members were pleased to see each other after the Christmas break and what a brilliant speaker they had to welcome in 2013.
Valerie Bennett had brought along her beautiful quilting, you could not really call it quilting as it was a work of art, along with husband who dyes all her material. Her bags were like Mary Poppins, with her pieces of work coming out one after another – yet more talent we have here in Falmouth. The programme for 2013 was all ready: February 14 Mark Smith, Bodmin Fire Station with his dog, Nelson; February 28, meal at Penmere Manor Hotel.
We extend a warm welcome to old and new members on the second Thursday of the month at Bosvale Community Hall, 7.30pm.
