A TEENAGER was threatened with a knife for his mobile phone in Southend.
The sixth form student was stood at a bus stop in Woodgrange Drive opposite Honiton Road when two men demanded his phone.
The victim refused to hand it over and the men ran off.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attempted robbery on Wednesday February 6 between 7.25am and 7.40am to get in touch.
The two men are described as white, aged 16 to 19, both of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
One of them had fair hair and the other dark. They were also pushing a supermarket shopping trolley with a large red and white checked bag inside which looked full.
