Using newsreel, promotional documentaries and amateur film, it creates a moving picture scrapbook – a must for anyone with an interest in the town’s history.
From watching crowds shuffle up and down Southend Pier back in the day, to showing Thames barges bobbing along in the Estuary, the DVD covers every aspect of the town’s history.
