Two men have been charged in relation to an indecent assault on a teenage girl at Chalkwell Railway Station in July.
Jordan Bamfield, 20, of Clyde Crescent, Rayleigh, was charged with sexual assault by touching.
Jay Ford, 21, of Redgrave Road, Basildon, was charged with causing intentional harassment, alarm or distress contrary to Section 4A of the Public Order Act.
Both men were arrested on Wednesday, 22 July, and were interviewed under caution and subsequently released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
They both remain on bail and are due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 1 September.
It follows a British Transport Police (BTP) appeal for information, including the release of CCTV images.
