TWO homes have been destroyed after a suspicious blaze in Westcliff.
The fire started in the rear garden of a house in Albion Road and quickly spread.
Despite the houses being separated by an alleyway the fire spread to the neighbouring house.
Fortunately the residents of both houses managed to escape unhurt.
Six fire crews including the aerial platform ladder were sent to tackle the flames at 11.20pm yesterday.
Firefighters managed to prevent the fire spreading further and were on scene until about 3am.
