Hundreds of Shoeburyness school children gave local councillors a grilling during their own version of the popular BBC TV show, Question Time.

Youngsters aged 10 to 16 years of age took part in the third annual "Debate Shoeburyness" event at Shoeburyness High School.

The subjects under discussion were all picked by the young audience, and included buses, East Beach and parks amongst many other topics.

Conservative Councillor’s Roger Hadley and Tony Cox were two of those put under the spotlight.
